Incorporation
for foreigners residing
in Singapore

As a foreigner with Employment (or Dependant’s) Pass in Singapore, you can set up a business here. The taxes are low and the authorized capital is only $1. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that your company needs one director who’s a Singapore resident.

You can stick with your EP and be a shareholder only: just ask a local you know to play the director’s role or hire a Nominee from us. If you want to be a director yourself, you should change your EP/DP to one connected to your new company. It’ll take 3-6 months, so you’ll only need a temporary Nominee Director for that period. It’s up to you which way to choose.
